Former Towns Bulldog Jack Martin is looking at a move back west after being dropped by Carlton.

The 29-year-old was hampered by injuries this season, appearing in just three games and talks of a contract extension were put off after his struggles to stay healthy.

Carlton announced five delistings on Friday with one of those being Martin following his five years at the club, where he played 54 games.

Now Martin will be eyeing a move home after he completed a medical recently for Fremantle.

It is being reported that Martin and his management requested the move to be delisted, much like he did back at Gold Coast.

The Dockers are already looking to make several moves in the upcoming trade period, and it could leave no room for Martin — leaving his future up in the air.
