Albemarle puts call-out for Noongar artists, story holders to collaborate on public artwork for Paris Grove

Noongar artists, designers and story holders with strong connections to Australind are being encouraged to put their names forward for a public art collaboration.

Albemarle is seeking to incorporate Noongar culture, knowledge and stories into its $140 million Paris Grove workers accommodation project, which is under construction near the Australind Spudshed.

The company has engaged non-for-profit group FORM to run a three day long professional development workshop for up to five individuals or teams with strong connections to the land the development is being built upon.

The artists or artistic teams will be paid for their involvement working with curators and facilitators at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery between October 31 and November 2 this year.

Expressions of interest can be submitted before 4pm on October 2 and should include contact details, a short written statement, supporting materials and a resume if available.
