Body found at Lake Navarino

The body of a 22-year-old Perth man was found at Lake Navarino near Waroona over the Australia Day long weekend.

Waroona police acting officer-in-charge David Swain said the body was found at about 7pm on Sunday, after friends notified police and ambulance officers.

Acting OIC Swain said police did not know the circumstances surrounding the death but said the lake was well known for skiing and other water sports.

Police will continue to investigate and asked anyone with information to contact Waroona Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
