Two key figures at Harvey Community Resource Centre have been recognised for their efforts in keeping the services hub thriving.

Chair Anne Haylock and secretary Kevin Haylock were recently awarded life membership of the centre in honour of their contributions.

Ms Haylock and Mr Haylock have put in countless hours of work at the CRC during their time with the organisation, with the pair currently serving in senior management roles.

In presenting the life membership, committee member Paul Beech said the pair were a dynamic duo.

“Their expertise, commitment, and passion for this project have turned what was once just a vision into a reality,” he said.

“They have worked tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to ensure that our Community Resource Centre not only stands strong but also thrives financially.”

Mr Beech noted each brought their own skills to the CRC which have helped with the organisation’s success.

“Together, as a team, they have not only turned our centre into a place of education, skill development, and cultural exchange but also into a financially viable institution that will continue to benefit our community for generations to come,” he said.

“Their sacrifices and countless hours of hard work have not gone unnoticed. They have demonstrated what it means to be selfless and dedicated community leaders. We are deeply indebted to them for their contributions and will forever be grateful for their dedication.”

Ms Haylock and Mr Haylock were presented a gift by the centre in honour of their achievements.
