A South West high school welcomed community members into the halls last week to give thanks for the region’s ongoing support as the school year winds down.

Harvey’s Senior High School hosted a sundowner on Monday last week with a small banquet, drinks and conversation for those attending.

Principal David Gault said it was the ongoing support of the external community which allowed the school to function smoothly through they year.

“This just our way of saying thank you,” he said.

“We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without you.”

One of the attendees said the community would also be at a loss if not for the ongoing work of Mr Gault and the school’s faculty members.
