Harvey students celebrated worlds and adventures to be found in books all last week with a range of activities for National Book Week.

St Anne’s and Harvey primary schools held a range of activities, with this year’s theme of Escape to Everywhere.

St Anne’s held a book fair in the library all week, outdoor reading in the sun on Wednesday and a writing competition hosted by the Business and Professional Women’s Club.

Harvey primary hosted an outdoor library, a bookmark making competition and voted on their favourite picture books at the Harvey Public Library.

The week culminated in costume parades at both schools with students dressed as their favourite characters and prizes awarded.
