Yarloop students home for farewell

The Yarloop Primary School community returned to their school on Thursday to farewell the small Year 6 cohort in style.

Principal John Collis acknowledged the difficult year and praised staff who went out of their way to help children affected directly and indirectly by the devastating January bushfire.

“It is great to be back at our school, even if it is only for tonight,” Mr Collis said.

It was a joyous celebration at the amphitheatre and children showed off their drumming skills and entertained the audience with a whole school performance.
