Not one but two Christmas miracles have blessed WA at the weekend, with a pair of Lotto players becoming instant millionaires.

The first Division One winner was crowned on Friday night when a Millionaire Medley ticket sold at Fieldgate News & General Store in Balga scored a $1 million prize.

With the good luck snowballing across to Saturday night, a player who purchased their winning ticket from Palmyra Supa News bagged a very handy $1,350,452 haul.

A total of nine WA Lotto players won Division Two prizes in Saturday’s draw, each claiming tickets worth $12,000.

The fortune-filled weekend brings our State’s total Division One winners to 65, with a prize pool of more than $126 million in winnings shared between them.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender suggested WA’s newest millionaires must be thrilled with the timing.

“It’s never a bad time to win a Division One prize, but to have it happen the weekend before Christmas makes it extra special,” Ms Wender said.
