Person dies at Sydney’s Shelly Beach during diving incident
A person has died in a suspected diving incident at a popular beach in Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Shelly Beach in Manly shortly after 10am on Friday.
Despite efforts to revive the person, they died at the scene.
The beach is a popular sport for swimming and snorkeling, with many companies operating scuba diving training and activities at the beach.
It’s understood NSW Police will be making a statement following the death.
