Residents said a man was removed “very quickly” from a Prince Albert St home, according to the Mosman Collective.

“When the riot squad van turned up we were very alarmed, and police had a loud hailer they were using to warn the man they were coming for him,” the resident said.

Streets were blocked off during the incident, with the Daily Mail Australia reporting passengers were taken off buses in the area.

A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed that officers from the North Shore Police Area Command executed a firearms prohibition order at a Mosman home about 7am on Tuesday.

Police were assisted by specialist officers, with an 18-year-old man and another man whose age is not known spoken to by police.

No arrests have been made, with the operation now over.

A NSW Police spokesperson said inquiries remained ongoing.

“There is no threat to the community,” the spokesperson said earlier.

“The road has now reopened.”

The three-bedroom, 506sq m unit was last sold in 2011 for $1,327,000.
