The crowd which gathered at the Binningup Community Centre last week featured some of Harvey’s finest as the shire brought together current and former councillors, long-time volunteers, friends and family for a special celebration.
The Harvey Community Awards gathered the community champions to recognise and celebrate the work they have done continuously to serve the shire, with two residents — Peter Monagle and Tania Jackson — named Freeman of the Shire.
Heldi Bibby, Paul Fonck, Annie O’Connor, Mark Talbot, Robert Newby and Robert William George were also recognised with awards.
