2025 Hyundai Santa Fe price and specs: Cheaper petrol models join range
The fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe arrived here earlier this year exclusively with hybrid power, but now a petrol engine has joined the range.
But while its Kia Sorento cousin sticks with an older 3.5-litre V6 engine, the Santa Fe picks up a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
This is available across base, Elite and Calligraphy variants, with all-wheel drive available across all but a price-leader front-wheel drive base variant also featuring.

This opens the range at $53,000 before on-road costs, $2500 less than the entry-level Santa Fe Hybrid.
Other petrol-powered Santa Fes also undercut their hybrid counterparts by $2500.
The Santa Fe range still starts $6950 higher than the previous-generation model, though it packs more interior space and equipment than before.
Petrol-powered models will arrive in dealerships over the coming weeks.
In addition to a lower price and more power, the 2.5T models also feature greater towing capacity (2000kg braked vs 1650kg), though they’re still down 500kg on turbo-diesel and V6 petrol versions of the previous-generation Santa Fe.
