A man on the run after a car slammed into a Parmelia home in the early hours of Sunday has been arrested.

Rockingham Detectives were seeking information regarding the whereabouts of 28-year-old Daniel Jaris Bell over the incident.

The dramatic scene unfolded just before 2am in Gould Place when a Toyota Hilux ute ploughed into a home.

Police, St John WA and Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel attended, and a 19-year-old woman inside the home was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The driver – who police believe is known to the residents of the home – had fled the scene.

Police arrested Mr Bell on Thursday night and he was taken into custody.
