South Western Highway roadworks complete
The four-month roadwork project along South Western Highway has finally been completed.
The 3km stretch has been under heavy construction all year, causing lengthy delays to those who used the highway.
Road repair and maintenance were carried out by Main Roads in front of Ha Ve Cheese near Wokalup. Ha Ve Cheese owner Robert St Duke said his business increased at the time because people were going slow enough to notice he was there. There was also a turning lane added to Hinge Road.
Main Roads confirmed the road’s competition last week.
